Fastbreak Pick up: Proceed to the Budget Fastbreak line or Budget rental counter. Present your driver licence and receive your rental agreement and keys.

Fastbreak Return: Park the vehicle and lock it. If a return agent is not available in the rental car park, proceed to the rental counter/office with your vehicle keys, mileage and fuel level. You can access your receipt online within 72 hours of returning your vehicle.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock the car. Place the completed contract & the keys in the Drop Box located in the Returns area. Remember to take your personal belongings with you.

Nelson Airportis nestled in the city of Nelson, on the South Island. Located on Trent Drive, it is close to the centre of New Zealand, offering access to most of the country. While waiting at the airport, you can grab a coffee at one of the coffee shops, sit and dine in the cafes or grab any souvenirs or forgotten items at The Nelson Store. You may even find the perfect gift to bring home to your family.

Budget Car Rental

Budget Car Rental is onsite and easy to access, for those that choose to fly in to Nelson airport. It's located in the domestic terminal situated along Trent Drive. Walkthrough the car park and the Budget office is just before Rapide Place, about a four-minute walk from the terminals.

Budget's large fleet of cars gives everyone something to choose from, whether economy class or luxury vehicles. They also have SUVs available for those who need more space or for those exploring the national parks.

After-hours, you can use the conveniently located drop box to return your car. Just park and lock the car, and drop the keys and your contract in the drop box. Don't forget to take all of your belongings with you when you go! Your receipt will be sent to you within 48 hours.

There are many petrol stations nearby for when you return your car - or to gas up on your way out. Stop at one of the nearby Mobile stations -Mobile Caltrex, Mobile Stoke, or Mobile Tahunanui, or find another station on State Highway between the airport and city centre. There are several to choose from.
