When you’re travelling, sometimes accidents happen and things don’t go to plan. To ensure your rental is worry free and a smooth one, Budget has a range of coverages to keep you on your way.
Standard Cover:
When you rent a Budget vehicle in New Zealand, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is included at no extra cost. If the hire vehicle is lost, stolen or damaged LDW reduces the liability payable from the full cost of the vehicle to the standard excess outlined in the below table.
Optional Coverages
Budget New Zealand customers have two levels of optional cover to reduce the financial liability if the vehicle is involved in an accident, the vehicle is lost, stolen or damaged.
If you choose to take one of our coverage options mentioned below you must add these prior to your reservation commencing.
