At Budget, our customer’s safety is paramount. Due to the extreme weather conditions in the South Island, the following procedures are in place.
For customers who are unable to travel south from Christchurch or North from Timaru, vehicles can be left at the following locations :
- Avis Timaru (there is no Budget office here)
- Invercargill Airport
- Dunedin Airport
- Queenstown Airport or City
For those stranded in Franz Josef, customers can leave their car at Franz Heliservices Car Park, Alpine Adventure Car Park, 29 Main Road, Franz Josef. For more information, please call our office in Greymouth on +64 3 768 0902 or email greymouth@budget.co.nz
